Khizr Khan, most memorable for his passionate speech at the Democratic National Convention last year. Now the Gold Star father whose son Humayun Khan died in Iraq in 2004, is making the news for a far more infuriating reason: he had to cancel plans to visit Toronto to give a presentation this week because of the Tangerine Tyrant.
Khan was set to visit the Ramsay lecture organization to give a presentation and Q & A ” on what we can do about the appalling turn of events in Washington — so that we don’t all end up sacrificing everything.” Why did Khan have to cancel his visit? He learned late Sunday that his traveling privileges were under review.

Excuse f*cking me, traveling privileges? Khizr Khan is a naturalized US citizen of 30 years and a Harvard educated immigration lawyer. Do US citizens now have to look at international travel as a privilege, or is it only naturalized citizens? You know the ones who actually have to pay through the nose in USCIS fees and actually take a test to prove they know sh*t about the country they are adopting. Becoming a citizen isn’t enough for this administration, though. Nope, they are still under constant surveillance and intimidation.
According to Ramsay Talks which first announced Khan’s cancellation:
Late Sunday evening Khizr Khan, an American citizen for over 30 years, was notified that his travel privileges are being reviewed,” the statement read. “As a consequence, Mr. Khan will not be traveling to Toronto on March 7th to speak about tolerance, understanding, unity and the rule of law.
No one is giving details on the how and the why of Khan’s “review” including Khizr Khan himself:
This turn of events is not just of deep concern to me but to all my fellow Americans who cherish our freedom to travel abroad,” Khan said. “I have not been given any reason as to why. I am grateful for your support and look forward to visiting Toronto in the near future.
Media outlets reached out to both U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the TSA, and after multiple denials of any traveler being forewarned about a travel review, it was suggested that it may have something to do with the Global Entry or trusted traveler membership; a program many frequent flyers avail of to expedite their movement through airport security. In mid February several Muslim-Americans reported having their global entry status revoked before Cheeto’s first immigration executive order’s paper was even dry.
Coincidence? I think not.
If this is, in fact, the case with Khan it would certainly explain the language used, both by Ramsay Talks and Khizr Khan himself. It would also explain his reluctance to play Re-Entry Roulette at the Canadian/US border, and who would blame him? Sadly,it appears the Colossal Carrot’s plan of forced intimidation is working.
In wake of the latest revelations, it’s haunting to read what Khan said about his son at the DNC last summer:
If it were up to Trump, he would never have been in America.
If it were up to the Mangled Mandarin Wank Stain neither would Khizr Khan– thing is, he’s still here.
