Twitter Eviscerates Coward Donald Trump For Backing Out Of Correspondents’ Dinner

Earlier today, Donald Trump announced on Twitter that he wouldn’t be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. This dinner has been held almost every year since 1914, and for much of the 103 years of its existence, it has been tradition for the president to attend.

Trump, however, decided that he was going to back out.

Now, the dinner has been cancelled a few times. For instance, Truman did it in 1951, when the world was on the brink of nuclear war. FDR also canceled it in 1942, after the entry of the United States into World War II.

So why did Trump cancel? Not because of any emergency; he’s not half the president Truman, FDR, or even George W. Bush was. I suspect it has something to do with the color “yellow,” and I’m not alone:

Trump’s ego is so large and fragile that he can’t handle the pressure, and he’s done nothing but attempt to make enemies with the press from the start. It’s no wonder he’s backing out — but even the act of backing out can’t save him face now. Donald Trump’s popularity is now somewhere around the 38% mark, with 51% of the population disapproving of him. I’m sure instances like him growing cold feet and backing out of the Correspondent’s Dinner will help with that popularity figure, right?

Right?

Bueller?
