Fox News is reporting that because Donald Trump was called out at the debate for the way he treated Miss Universe contestant Alicia Machado, the gloves are off and we can start expecting to hear names like Flowers and Lewinski from his surrogates. The tweet from Fox News announcing Trump’s plan to go full scumbag went out Friday morning, just after Trump’s long night of incoherent, allegedly drugged out hate tweets about his failures of late:

According to the accompanying story:
Donald Trump’s campaign is signaling that Bill Clinton’s history of affairs and alleged sexual misconduct – as well as Hillary Clinton’s treatment of the women involved – is now fair game, after his Democratic opponent took the first shot by calling out his own negative comments toward women at Monday’s debate.
“The American people have had it with years and decades of Clinton corruption and scandal,” Trump said. “And impeachment for lying. … Remember that?”
Trump and his surrogates argue that Clinton opened the door when she raised accusations during Monday’s debate that Trump called former Miss Universe Alicia Machado names like “Miss Piggy” and taunted her.
What Trump doesn’t seem to understand is that “firing back” at Secretary Clinton with tabloid garbage from the 90’s because he was called out for being a misogynist douchebag isn’t retaliating, it’s attacking a woman further for a situation that was largely out of her control. Trump is going to use Clinton’s marriage, which she and her husband managed to save a couple of decades ago, as a dumping ground for garbage she and her family are more than used to.
The article continues:
“If you look at her being an enabler, really, in the ‘90s and really attacking these women, it goes against everything that she now tries to spout as a candidate for president,” David Bossie, Trump’s deputy campaign manager, said on the same program.
Such comments are part of a new game plan. According to a talking points memo reported by CNN and NBC News, the campaign is urging surrogates to discuss how Hillary Clinton “bullied” women tied to her husband’s controversies.
Republicans, including Newt Gingrich, the guy who spearheaded the impeachment of President Clinton, have expressed what a bad idea it is for Trump to take this sorry road to nowhere, which all but guarantees that he will.
Because…he’s Donald Trump. He built a great company. A marvelous company. He knows how to get things done.
