The Republican National Convention handed out goody bags of right-wing themed merchandise to some of its attendees. It looked more like a tax write-off for Donald Trump, since almost everything in the package was his campaign-branded stuff that he had to give away because nobody would buy it.
The Trump bag was full of things like Trump books, Trump hats, Trump drinking glasses … you get the picture. There was one thing, though, that was included in the bag that was truly disgusting.
You’re probably wondering, “What could be more disgusting than an entire bag full of things praising a fascist, overgrown bully?” Well, I’m glad you asked that question. Each bag came with its very own collection of plastic aborted fetuses.
I know what you’re thinking. That can’t be true. Guess again …
Yes, that’s an actual bag of plastic fetuses that the RNC was handing out to people.
Each bag of fetuses came with its own little pamphlet:
There’s a lot of things that are foul, creepy and disgusting that you can expect to find in a bag of propaganda from the Republican party, but this really takes the cake. They’re called “Young Ones” and they’re manufactured by the “pro-life” company, Heritage House.
It’s appropriate to call them aborted fetuses, rather than “preborn” as the pamphlet describes, because that’s what this is all about. Taking away a woman’s right to an abortion if she chooses it for whatever reason she wants — because that’s how rights work. Republicans are trying to give you an aborted fetus that you can hold in your hands to make you want to ban abortion.
If just the concept of this isn’t enough to make you want to take a bleach shower, here’s how Heritage House describes them:
“The most realistic fetal model ever developed. It’s beautiful detail, softness and weight can really move hearts and change minds!”
Seriously, what the hell do you even say to that? I mean I’m totally at a loss to describe the creepy fetishistic description they gave that … thing.
This just shows how seriously sick the Republican ticket is for 2016. They’re passing out fake aborted fetuses, or as they call them “pre-born.”
